KVK, Udalguri undertook various awareness, training and practical demonstration programmes on Natural Farming to sensitise farmers and rural youth about the importance of eco-friendly, low-input and sustainable agricultural practices. Method demonstrations, training programmes, farmer awareness programmes and field-level interactions were organised to facilitate the adoption of Natural Farming practices among farming communities in the district. The programmes focused on promoting the use of locally available natural inputs, improving soil health, reducing dependence on external agricultural inputs and enhancing the sustainability of farming systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natural Farming Demonstrations Unit was also established at KVK, Udalguri, featuring maize as the main crop with sunflower as a companion crop. The unit serves as a practical learning and demonstration site for farmers, rural youth and other stakeholders, enabling them to observe Natural Farming practices and understand the benefits of diversified and sustainable crop production systems under local conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
